Volunteer and staff facilitators arrived at Camp Tecumseh today, with a number of the facilitators flying in from various parts of the country to participate. In fact, Barry Kalian, CSU Sacramento ’85, arrived at Portland’s International Airport at 4:15 am for his 6:20 am flight. Now, THAT’s dedication!
After getting to the camp, facilitators unloaded the cars, had a barbecue dinner, went over the curriculum, and immediately got down to an intense game of Trivial Pursuit (see the photo below).

If the Institute goes as well as this unofficial first day, it’s going to be a great five days in the woods!! Keep following and engaging with us as the event officially kicks off tomorrow.
